Rambusch was honored that the Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Oklahoma City, OK selected the firm to design and shape a new liturgical environment, undertaking full interior design and renovation—altar, ambo, reredos, cathedra—including a side oratory honoring the Blessed Stanley Rother and new wooden seating for presider and decons. We designed and installed a scene-controlled lighting system, incorporating both engineered and decorative LED fixtures.
Working closely with the parish and archdiocese, Rambusch first obtained a reredos from a closed church in Baltimore and acquired an old altar of repose. With these historical elements as our point of departure, we helped develop new liturgical furnishings to revitalize the interior. By coordinating the colors and materials throughout, the Cathedral has returned to a harmonious sanctuary supporting worship for all events, across all liturgical seasons.
