An articulated uplight sconce solved Calgary’s need to provide even, shadowless lighting within their Arrivals Hall. Rambusch developed and tested the design, and then manufactured all units in-house.
Working closely with the architectural team, Rambusch designed a unique decorative shroud for its Pan-A-Lux optical system. The shroud has an adjustable support system that keeps the lower housing plumb after it slightly bows with the tension of the arm. Another example of the fixtures’ flexibility is that the optical subsystem can be tuned to adjust the front and back of the light distribution.
This is an example of Rambusch helping to deliver a project-unique mounting system to allow the client’s chosen optical system to be installed and maintained with minimal effort.
