Our Lady of Guadalupe Stained Glass Window
The dynamic, multicultural parish of St. Rose of Lima wished to create an original presentation of Our Lady of Guadeloupe and the Four Evangelists in stained glass. They turned to Rambusch after our stained glass artists successfully designed and implemented an original image of St. Rose of Lima, their patron saint, to welcome the community while they gathered for worship.
Through a collaborative design process, Rambusch helped the community first verbalize, then visualize their own particular image of Saint Rose. Their wonderful Saint Rose image sits on a luminous field of bright yellow gold smalti, anchored by four bouquets of roses, which are anchored to a frame of sepia-gold.
The success and satisfaction of this collaborative process led to the Parish commissioning Rambusch to create this original presentation of Our Lady of Guadeloupe and the Four Evangelists, adding to the beauty and multi-cultural representation of the saints at their parish.
